メズコトイズのプロダクトライン「ワン12コレクティブ」1/12スケールフィギュアシリーズに、現在まで多数の映画が製作された、SF映画の金字塔『猿の惑星』シリーズがスタートします！
第一弾としてラインナップするのは、モーリス・エヴァンス演じるオラウータン種のザイアス博士です。
レザー調のアクセントがついた布製コスチュームは丁寧縫製！
頭部は科学庁長官らしい思慮深い表情と、眉間にしわを寄せた表情の2種を用意し、差し替えが可能です。
ボロボロの人形、ミニサイズとなった「賢者の像（ロウギバー）」などがアクセサリーとして付属。
手の甲までしっかり体毛が造型されたハンドパーツは左右あわせて12種も。
アクションではなく手によって「表情」をつけることができ、様々なシーンの再現に重宝します。
